Kim Dan, a struggling physical therapist, has been battling financial hardships due to his grandmother’s worsening health, mounting debts to loan sharks, and difficulties finding stable work after issues with his previous employer. Just when things seem hopeless, he lands a job treating Joo Jaekyung, a famous MMA fighter with a reputation for being ruthless both in and out of the ring.

On the night before a crucial fight, Jaekyung makes an unusual request—a specialized treatment that comes with a hefty offer of five thousand dollars. Though hesitant about dealing with someone as intense and unpredictable as Jaekyung, Dan reluctantly agrees.
